This book by Bill Holmes gives detailed plans for building two different handguns in the home workshop, a semi-automatic pistol and a falling-block single shot pistol. The semi-auto can be built to use .22 LR, .32 ACP, .380 ACP or any combination of the three. The single-shot design will handle nearly any cartridge that's practical to use in a hand-held firearm. Details for building magazines, lists of gun part dealers, machinists lists on tap drill sizes and properties of various steels are included too.
