This manual addresses the fundamentals of close combat, the linear infighting neural-override engagement (LINE) program, bayonet fighting, and weapons of opportunity. Fundamentals of close combat addresses target areas of the body, weapons of the body, stance, falling and rolling techniques, striking and blocking skills, takedowns, and chokeholds. The LINE program is a learned system of close-combat techniques. LINE I addresses wristlocks and counters against chokeholds. LINE II teaches counters against punches and kicks.
