Blast Match sets a whole new standard in firestarters. Has easy, one-handed operation, is lightweight, and puts out a shower of sparks twice as hot as a standard match. Lift the thumb button slightly, swing the nose bar over the handle, press on the thumb button while pushing down, and you've got hot sparks to start your campfire! Every camper should carry a firestarter, even those who normally carry a cigarette lighter. Standard gear in all emergency packs, especially for pilots... the ability to get a fire started can mean the difference between life and death! The tough ABS plastic case houses the 1/2" diameter special alloy flint bar and a spring loaded hardened steel striker. Works even when soaking wet. 5" long, weighs just 2.7 ounces.
Strike Force is a great way to start a fire! A 1/2" diameter special alloy flint bar and hardened steel striker are contained in the heavy-duty ABS plastic case. To use Strike Force, just open the case and run the steel striker down the flint. It puts out a shower of sparks you won't believe! Strike Force generates sparks that are twice as hot as a standard match, and works even when soaking wet. There is also a tinder block contained in the handle, so you've also got an instant emergency tinder source (after you've used up the included tinder block, fill it with TinderQuik for emergency tinder)! The entire unit is 5" long and weighs 3.7 ounces.
The Spark-Lite is an ultralightweight, small firestarter kit that can fit anywhere. The kit includes the Spark-Lite firestarter (operates with one hand, left or right), eight Tinder-Quiks and printed instructions, all contained in a waterproof plastic box that floats. The entire kit weighs just 0.5 oz. and measures 2 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 11/16"... about the same size as a Zippo lighter. The Spark-Lite is simple to use, putting out a good shower of sparks with little effort (my four-year-old granddaughter could operate it!) and it will last for at least 1,000 uses. The included Tinder-Quik tabs will burn for about two minutes each, are waterproof, and can be cut in half if you don't need the entire tab to get a fire going (refill Tinder-Quik tabs available below) The Spark-Lite kit is great for Scouts, backpackers, water sports, or anyone who needs an extremely lightweight, dependable and portable method of starting a fire.
A multi-use item that you won't want to be without, this super lightweight magnifier not only lets you read small print and maps with ease, it's also great for seeing tiny splinters, and even starting fires! Hold it about 4" above an object to magnify it, or use it to concentrate sunlight into a super-hot beam that easily starts a fire. To start a fire, just hold the lens between the sun and your tinder... you'll see a very bright circle of light. Move the lens to aim and adjust this intense beam of light until it's about the size of a dime... this is extremely simple and can light a fire in seconds! These are very similar to the "Lifeboat" matches, but in a slide-open box instead of a sealed tube. They burn ferociously and very hot (it'll almost remind you of a 4th of July sparkler) for about 11-13 seconds and are virtually impossible to put out, no matter how bad the weather. Each match is partially varnished and the incendiary material extends almost halfway down the match stick... they'll light even when soaking wet, and are virtually impossible to blow out. These matches are invaluable for hunters, hikers, boaters, pilots, rescue personnel, or anyone whose survival could depend on their ability to get a fire started. A box contains approximately 25 matches and weighs 0.5 oz.

These odd-looking but very effective "tabs" make great tinder to start a fire. Appearing somewhat like a cross between a piece of cotton rope and an unwrapped cigarette filter, they are extremely lightweight(0.3 oz. per 10 pack), waterproof, odorless, and can be compressed to fit in a small area. To use a Tinder-Quik, just fluff up a few of the fibers and drop a spark into the fluffed fibers from any firestarter (or you can "cheat" and light it with a match or lighter). Each "tab" will burn with a very nice flame for about two minutes, and can be cut in half if you won't need the entire tab. Impregnated with a proprietary blend of beeswax, petroleum and silicones, these are excellent to have on hand for use when "found" tinder may be wet or unavailable. Packed in a zip-lock bag, you can get 'em 10 at a time, or save with a bag of fifty.

This nickel-plated brass match box is lightweight, waterproof, and has a hanging loop. The tube of this matchbox screws down securely onto a rubber gasket, and when unscrewed swings open to dispense the matches that you provide. The tube has a stamped striker area for lighting matches.
