A 1/2 ounce pepper spray in a black leather snap-open carrier which has a heavy-duty key ring attached. Contains 10% oleoresin capsicum rated at 2 million Scoville Heat Units, and a UV dye marker. The Eliminator brand is recommended by many in law enforcement... the effectiveness of pepper spray lies largely in the propellants and carriers used, and Eliminator uses top quality in both. This is NOT a bear spray, use this for aggressive dogs and bad guys. Will shoot about 6 one-second bursts for an effective distance of 8-20 feet, has a positive on/off safety top, and is made in the USA. Great non-lethal protection for joggers and walkers, or anyone who's outdoors alone. DO NOT spray this at someone in a confined area, such as inside a house or store, or you (and anyone else in the area) will also likely be overcome by the effects. Also, ALL brands of pepper spray should be replaced every 2-3 years or so. Different brands of pepper spray should be compared by Scoville heat units, NOT by the percentage of oleoresin capsicum.
